Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris: September 15 - 17, 2025

Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris will take place from Septembre 15 to 17 2025 in Halls 2, 3 and 4 of the Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Center. Texworld Paris, Apparel Sourcing Paris, along with their dedicated sectors Avantex and Leatherworld, will showcase the global offering for fashion brands—from ready-to-wear to luxury.
 
Between 1,200 and 1,300 exhibitors expected in Paris in September  
Returning this September for the autumn edition, Apparel Sourcing & Texworld Paris and their key sectors Avantex and Leatherworld have chosen these dates to better align with buyers' calendars.

The event will follow the same layout as the February edition, whose dynamism was hailed by both manufacturers and fashion buyers. Halls 2, 3, and 4 will hence welcome nearly 1,300 exhibitors, in line with the target set by the Messe Frankfurt France teams.

Major textile-producing countries have already confirmed their participation: weavers and manufacturers from China, India, Türkiye, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong will be present in Paris this September. Their willingness to attend once again highlights the central role of European markets in a global ecosystem disrupted by ongoing US-China trade tensions. Central European garment manufacturers are also showing considerable interest in this edition. Countries such as Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine are expected to make significant appearance at Apparel Sourcing Paris, with real know-how and remarkable levels of quality.
 
Organized by universe, with an Initiatives by Texworld zone
In terms of layout, Avantex will be located in Hall 2, alongside trend forums, conference, and service areas. As in February, thematic “universes” will be featured, focused on women’s clothing and activewear collections, to create synergies between raw materials and finished products and to enhance the sourcing experience for visitors.

Leatherworld will be in Hall 4, next to the Denim area, bridging Texworld and Apparel Sourcing to maintain proximity between materials and finished products. The Initiatives by Texworld zone, located at the entrance of Hall 4, will highlight the specific expertise of certain countries such as Türkiye which will present a trend area featuring its top weavers, and India which will showcase the remarkable work of its embroiderers.

Heimtextil meets Milan Design Week

Textile interior design at its best is an integral part of Heimtextil. Designer and architect Patricia Urquiola expressed this spectacularly in January in Frankfurt with her installation ‘among-us’. Now the leading trade fair is making its mark at Milan Design Week: exclusive products by Patricia Urquiola, created specifically for Heimtextil, are celebrating their premiere at the Design Week in Milan. Set within a diverse interior setting, they highlight the vital role textiles play in holistic design.

Textile interior design at its best is an integral part of Heimtextil. Designer and architect Patricia Urquiola expressed this spectacularly in January in Frankfurt with her installation ‘among-us’. Now the leading trade fair is making its mark at Milan Design Week: exclusive products by Patricia Urquiola, created specifically for Heimtextil, are celebrating their premiere at the Design Week in Milan. Set within a diverse interior setting, they highlight the vital role textiles play in holistic design.

Two pieces designed by Patricia Urquiola exclusively for Heimtextil are staged in Milan. With their organic shapes, the ‘Gruuvelot’ sofa and the padded sculpture ‘Mushmonster’ by Moroso morph to their surroundings and invite touching and interaction. ‘Gruuvelot’ represents an organism that expands and unfolds within space. Exceptional protrusions, extensions and volumes form a flowing seating ecosystem that adapts to the body and offers a variety of possibilities for interaction. ‘Mushmonster’ is inspired by the shape of a giant mushroom and shows an organism in constant metamorphosis. At the same time, it contains a filling that enables sustainable production and complex shapes. The covering designed by Patricia Urquiola envelops the padded object. Sustainable and innovative: the fabric is produced using a water-based and CO2-saving printing process.

Until Sunday, the upholstered pieces will merge with a new design environment at the heart of Milan Design Week. Patricia Urquiola designed the Palazzo Bovara for Elle Decor. Under the title ‘Alchemica’, the installation explores the home as a transforming organism that changes throughout the day, the seasons and the stages of life. The designer plays with the metaphor of alchemy, the senses, balance and opposites. She invites visitors to experience the metamorphosis in different rooms. Right in the centre: the padded sculptures of the Heimtextil installation ‘among-us’. ‘Gruuvelot’ is positioned in the purification and light phase in a reflective room with light tones. In the indoor garden, ‘Mushmonster’ is part of a union of opposites and biomorphs in moving, cyclical light.

Fueled by robust demand, the fair wrapped up successfully on 13 March at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Over 370 exhibitors engaged with more than 25,000 visitors from 85 countries and regions, with total visitor numbers up by 8%, and the number of international visitors more than double that of the previous Spring Edition. As consumer preferences continue to evolve, buyers increasingly sought home products that harmoniously blend style, comfort and sustainability. This trend was evident throughout Hall 5.2, highlighted by the extensive mix of exhibitors and the accompanying fringe program focused on eco-innovation and smart sleep, reinforcing the fair as an important business platform for the advancing industry.

Speaking on the final day, Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, said: “The visitor flow throughout the hall clearly demonstrated the strong demand and recovery within the Chinese home textile market, with many exhibitors reporting high-quality leads. Notably, there was a significant increase in overseas visitors, highlighting the event's growing international appeal. We observed various trends, but prominent themes were sustainability and smart bedding solutions, as more exhibitors are increasingly incorporating technology and eco-friendly practices into their materials and production processes. Overall, the comprehensive selection of products catered to the varied interests of buyers across the industry.”

Eco-consciousness has evolved from being just a nice-to-have to becoming an essential aspect in the home textiles market. In the bedding sector, this has led to a growing emphasis on organic, reusable, and recyclable materials that are free from hazardous chemicals. Throughout the three-day fair, the fairground was abuzz with products that offered both comfort and environmental responsibility.

From smart bedding, featuring temperature regulation and antibacterial technologies, to sustainable home textiles using biodegradable and organic materials, exhibitors showcased a diverse collection of solutions designed to elevate the modern home. Particularly notable was CoolisT Life Technology Co Ltd, which displayed bio-based biodegradable sponges, including Zero Foam and Hydrophilic Foam. Renowned buying brands, including Sainsbury’s, Americana International, Li & Fung, and many more, proactively pursued technological innovations, sustainable solutions, and high-end products to better meet the demands of consumers.

The fringe programme also played a key role in driving industry dialogue around eco-consciousness and innovation. The Green and Low Carbon Forum explored sustainable textiles for bedrooms and homes, while the Sleeping Aid Summit 2025 discussed the integration of smart home technologies into bedding. Another event in the spotlight was Timeless and Transformative Colour: Celebrating the Rich Diversity of Modern Living for 2026, held by the Pantone Color Institute. At this event, participants discovered the vibrant colour palettes for home interiors that are expected to be popular trends in 2026.

Curtains will open next week for Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition 2025, taking place from 11 – 13 March, and offering the home and contract sectors a comprehensive selection of products with a strong emphasis on smart bedding and sustainability. Alongside innovative fringe events, over 350 exhibitors from four countries and regions are ready to convene in Hall 5.2 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) to showcase an impressive range of products, including bedding, duvets, pillows, towelling, carpets, rugs, and more.

Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition 2025 will be held concurrently with Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition, Yarn Expo Spring, CHIC and PH Value at the National Exhibition and Convention Center.   • Jiangyin Hongliu Bedsheet Co Ltd (China) – the company’s bedding set is crafted from high-quality nylon and spandex, offering a soft and comfortable texture. It features moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties while maintaining an elegant appearance.
  • Shinwon Felt (Korea) – utilising a needle punching technique, the company regenerates plastic waste into felt products. Its sustainable product lines, certified by GRS, contribute significantly to addressing plastic waste issues.
  • Tela's Design (Portugal) – a design studio specialising in home textile designs and decorations. Its core principles – colour, design, and detail – have established Tela as one of the leading and most successful textile design firms globally.

Uncovering trends driving change in home textiles
In addition to a robust lineup of exhibitors, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles will host various fringe events to keep attendees informed about emerging developments, trends, and key insights, including:

Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris: Over 8,500 visitors

The 56th edition of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris took place in a particularly dynamic atmosphere. More than 8,500 international visitors discovered and made business connection with the 1,250 exhibitors from 32 countries over three days at the Paris-Le Bourget Exhibition Centre. Held from 10 to 12 February 2025, the new edition registered an 10% increase of visitors compared to the February 2024 edition.

Meeting market expectations
“The global market, beyond the general geo-politico-commercial situation, is still undergoing a major metamorphosis, with a gradual shift from the entry-level segments of the past towards a more qualitative offering, which now accounts for the bulk of global clothing consumption, points out Julien Schmoll, Marketing and Communications Director at Messe Frankfurt France. We've redesigned our trade fairs to meet the needs of buyers in these mid-range markets, by focusing our selection on a diversified, enriched, qualitative and cutting-edge offer, with a very wide choice at competitive prices, presented in a functional setting conducive to exchanges”.

Focus on African sourcing
This year saw the spotlight shine on African sourcing, now seen as an attractive alternative by many buyers. The nine Ethiopian companies present in Paris made promising commitments with European brands. Maryse Mbonyumutwa, founder of the Rwandan group Pink Mango, the first African manufacturing platform for sustainable and ethical global brands, has also made some solid contacts: “We've had promising discussions with representatives of several European brands that could sign up with us locally”, she says.

On the buyers' side, the feedback also points to active exchanges. Bangladeshi manufacturer NZ Denim was able to meet almost all its European customers, including Celio, OKaïdi, Kiabi and Jules, over three days. “The show is an opportunity for us to meet the design teams to discuss materials for future collections, explains Najam Us Saqib, the manufacturer's R&D manager. As for the buyers, they take advantage of our visit to Paris to keep abreast of the latest developments, such as the naturally coloured cotton Ackala Coton, which we are presenting this year”. This innovation was highlighted during the Econogy Tour, which was organised for visitors interested in identifying companies that respect the ecological and social standards of the textile industry.

For the first time this year, Texworld will be welcoming an Argentinian woollen manufacturer - Industrias Textiles Frione - which offers a range of top-quality fabrics while promoting manufacturing processes that are particularly environmentally friendly.

Texpertise Econogy: initiatives to promote sustainable fashion
As part of its commitment to more responsible fashion, Messe Frankfurt is supporting players who respect the ecological and social standards of the textile industry. At the entrance to Hall 4, the new ‘Initiatives’ zone will be showcasing inspiring and sustainable solutions promoted by some exhibitors. This area (where you'll find press and partner stands, events and trend forums) will also host the China Textile Information Centre's trend forum, as well as the Texpertise Econogy Hub, where Messe Frankfurt will be presenting its commitments to sustainability in the textile sector through the Texpertise Econogy concept, which combines ecology and economic development.

As part of this initiative, two Econogy Tours will enable visitors to discover what a selection of certified companies can offer. These guided tours, led by a specialist in the sustainable approach, will be offered on Monday 10 February (12.30pm-1.30pm) and Tuesday 11 February (10am-11am) to buyers who wish to take part. Appointments are scheduled at the Econogy Hub counter.

Conferences, trends and forecasts
To complement the product offering, a series of events and conferences will be taking place. Held in the Agora in Hall 2, they will explore market trends and prospects in detail. Louis Gérin, the shows' artistic director, will be commenting on “Neocene”, the Trendbook for the Spring-Summer 2026 season, focusing on the creative directions that will shape the fashion of tomorrow. Several conferences will provide an insight into the business models of manufacturers such as Wellfabric - Bao Lan Textiles, one of the pioneers of sustainable textiles  in Vietnam, and the African platform Arise IIP, present at Apparel Sourcing.  Finally, there will be round-table discussions on forward-looking issues such as fast fashion and the challenges of sustainability in terms of production and sourcing. They will also look at solutions to support the ecological transition (Econogy Talks), as well as innovation and management challenges. These conferences, which will take place on Monday and Tuesday, are free to attend.

Die Heimtextil Trends 25/26 von Alcova Milano und die Installation „among-us“ der Stardesignerin Patricia Urquiola setzten neue Maßstäbe für Interior Design, Handel und Hospitality. Das Content-Programm fokussierte auf KI-gestütztes Design, nachhaltige Produktionsprozesse und zukunftsweisende Innenräume.

Hohe Zufriedenheitswerte bestätigten die erfolgreiche Ausgabe der Heimtextil: 81 Prozent der Aussteller gaben an, ihre Messeziele erreicht zu haben. Mit 94 Prozent vergaben auch die Besucher*innen Spitzenwerte bei der Zufriedenheit. Die erhöhte Aufenthaltsdauer belegte, dass Fachbesucher*innen mehr Zeit auf der Messe verbrachten. Der hohe Anteil an Top-Entscheider*innen spiegelte Besucherqualität und Einkaufskompetenz wider. Die starke Internationalität, Qualität und globale Vielfalt verdeutlichte unter anderem der Erfolgsbereich Carpets & Rugs. Auf mehreren Hallenebenen erhielten Besucher*innen eine hochwertige Auswahl führender internationaler Teppichanbieter, stimmig in das Gesamtangebot der Heimtextil integriert. Neben Einkäufer*innen, Interior Designer*innen, Innenarchitekt*innen und Raumausstatter*innen profitierten auch spezialisierte Teppicheinkäufer*innen aus aller Welt von geschäftsfördernden Synergien für textiles Interior Design.
 
Heimtextil Trends 25/26 von Alcova: Leitfaden für die Branche
Als wichtige Inspirationsquelle halfen die Heimtextil Trends 25/26 dem Handel dabei, sein Angebot gezielt auf die aktuelle Marktlage und den zurückhaltenden Konsum auszurichten. Erstmals kuratierte die Mailänder Design-Plattform Alcova die Trend Arena und lieferte der Branche entscheidende Lösungsansätze. Unter dem Titel „Future Continuous“ veranschaulichte sie aktuelle Farben, Materialqualitäten, Techniken und Produktionsprozesse. Die Trendthemen „Naturally Uneven“, „Radically Restructured“ und „Regenerative“ spiegelten wider, was für Verbraucher*innen entscheidend ist: langlebige, hochwertige Produkte, die gleichzeitig ethischen und ökologischen Ansprüchen gerecht werden. Die diesjährige Farbpalette griff diese Stimmung auf – und reichte von Revival Mud, über New Green Deal bis zu Syntropic Forest.
 
Von KI bis Zirkularität: Heimtextil als globaler Wissenshub
Resilienz durch Wissensaustausch: Mit über 140 Vorträgen, Workshops und geführten Touren unterstützte die Heimtextil Industrie und Handel dabei, auf Marktveränderungen zu reagieren und Innovationen als Wettbewerbsvorteil zu nutzen. Die Fachbesucher*innen lernten, welche Geschäftsmöglichkeiten KI bietet und wie sie die traditionelle Textilproduktion oder die Kundenbetreuung bereichert. Renommierte Expert*innen stellten Best Practices und nachhaltige Business-Kooperationen zur Reduzierung von CO₂-Emissionen vor. Mit zukunftsweisenden Design- und Innenraumtrends setzte die Heimtextil den Fokus auf ganzheitliche Konzepte und förderte wirtschaftliche Potenziale für Handel, Hospitality und Innenarchitektur. „Die Heimtextil ist damit der globale Hub für lebenslanges Lernen für die gesamte textile Innenraumgestaltung“, betonte Olaf Schmidt.
 
Die Heimtextil 2026 findet vom 13. bis 16. Januar 2026 statt.

Heimtextil 2025 starts with over 3,000 exhibitors

Heimtextil kicks off the new trade fair year with over 3,000 exhibitors from 65 countries. At the opening, architect and designer Patricia Urquiola presented her installation ‘among-us’ at Heimtextil.

Visitors to the leading trade fair for home and contract textiles find a globally unique range of products on 16 hall levels. This spans from wallpapers, upholstery fabrics, mattresses and sleep systems, towelling products, textile designs, fibres and yarns to carpets. The Carpets & Rugs area counts three times as many exhibitors in 2025 and is growing by several hall levels.  

The Heimtextil Trends 25/26, curated for the first time by the Milan-based design platform Alcova, offer inspiration and sustainable solutions. In the Trend Arena in Hall 3.0, they are spectacularly staged. They are looking at material qualities, colours and innovative production processes.

The content programme covers the most important industry topics. It addresses different visitor groups – from retailers, wholesalers, industry, designers, furniture and bedding shops, interior architects, interior designers, architects, contract furnishers and many other decision-makers. At the Retail Stage in Hall 12.1, topics ranging from sleep and sustainability to AI in retail and optimising the customer experience are being highlighted. The Texpertise Stage in Hall 4.0 focuses on materials for contract furnishings, trends in hotel design, carpets and the Heimtextil Trends 25/26.

Installation by Patricia Urquiola: design concepts for retail and hospitality
At the Heimtextil opening press conference, star designer and architect Patricia Urquiola presented her design installation ‘among-us’ in Hall 12.0. The area contains products made specially for Heimtextil. For example, a hanging carpet created by the traditional dhurrie technique. Patricia Urquiola developed the unique pieces together with partners such as Kettal, Moroso, cc-tapis, Aquafil and Cimento®. Embedded in the installation, they show retail and hospitality the possibilities opened up by the textile design of tomorrow. Patricia Urquiola emphasises holistically designed rooms and objects, living areas that merge seamlessly as well as materiality and versatility.

“‘among-us’ is a convivial and intuitive textile installation that shows the evolving possibilities of textiles, exploring their hybrid potentials across various scales – from product design to one/off pieces. The title, among-us, refers to the concept of being together and reflects the intent of the installation to celebrate hybrid new relations”, explains Patricia Urquiola.

In ‘among-us’, physical and virtual worlds merge through a grid on the floor inspired by drafting software. At the centre are textile elements in abstract and organic forms such as a sofa or an upholstered sculpture. They demonstrate the interplay of materials and technologies. Screens show their virtual counterparts and encourage interaction. At the same time, ‘among-us’ shows how textile innovations influence design processes. Textiles combine functionality, aesthetics and sustainability and create unique possibilities. The installation also shows how traditional craftsmanship can be integrated into the design of spaces and products.

Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris returns to the Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Center

The return of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris to the Paris-Le-Bourget exhibition centre from 10 to 12 February will see a number of innovations both in terms of the products on offer and the visitor itineraries.

More than 1,200 weavers and garment makers are expected in Halls 2, 3 and 4 of the exhibition centre for this first edition in 2025. This return to a redesigned space marks a new chapter in the visitor experience. This session will also offer a true reflection of the diversity of global sourcing, with creative ranges at competitive prices for the fashion industries.

New sourcing destinations for Texworld
Alongside the Top 5 weaving nations loyal to Texworld - China, Türkiye with its 70 manufacturers grouped together under the pavilion of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, India, Korea and Taiwan - alternative sourcing zones such as Malaysia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, the Netherlands and Egypt are enriching the show's offering. Dutch exhibitors Quality Textile, Nooteboom and Verhees Textiles are also back in the cotton sector, with cutting-edge and particularly creative catalogues. In the knitwear sector, we can also note the participation of the Koreans O.N.K, specialists in circular knitting, W-Tex, whose polyester blends produce remarkable fancy fabrics, or specialists in silky aspects such as JK Tex or TL Corporation. The Denim sector is growing this year, with around thirty exhibitors, including some of the world's leading names such as Winwin Textile from China and Bangladeshi supplier NZ Denim.

Innovations, initiatives and sustainability
The new “Initiatives” zone at the entrance of Hall 4 will be showcasing inspiring and sustainable solutions, such as that of Vietnamese company Bao Lan Textile with its range of silk and fabrics made from pineapple leaf fibre. These products, developed with Ecofa Vietnam, have natural antibacterial properties and offer natural UV protection up to 50+ UPF. This area will also host the China Textile Information Centre's trends forum, as well as the Econogy Hub, which brings together Messe Frankfurt's expertise on sustainability-related initiatives in the textile sector. Also to be discovered in the activewear sector is the range from Japan's Toyoshima, known for its streetwear collections, its ‘non-denim’ fabrics that consume very little water, and its astonishing wagami fabrics, produced from blends of very fine yarns made to order from cotton, linen and wool.

Apparel Sourcing: focus on Africa and near sourcing
Apparel Sourcing also has a great session in store. With more than 500 exhibitors expected - up on February 2024 - the show's rich offering of finished products, clothing and fashion accessories will be on full display over the three days. Especially when it comes to local sourcing. Alongside the major manufacturing nations - led by China and India, and Pakistan and Bangladesh, both of which have grouped their exhibitors under their national pavilions - visitors will have access to products from the Africa zone, with a hub of companies from Ethiopia, Rwanda (Pink Mango) and the Arise Integrated Industrial Platform, which brings together the expertise of garment manufacturers based in Togo, Benin and Gabon. Ukraine, back with 5 companies supported by its national textile association, will be adding to the Euromed offering from Foursource, Messe Frankfurt's near sourcing partner, which will be presenting catalogues from companies in Eastern Europe, Portugal and Morocco.

An optimised sourcing experience
The return to Paris-Le Bourget Exhibition Centre has been accompanied by an overhaul of the organisation of visitor areas. The layout of sectors and services has been reviewed to create new synergies between raw materials and finished products. Women's wear areas (All about her, Embrodery & Lace, Silky aspect...) have been set up in Hall 4 - dedicated to knitwear, silk and lace - and a large area will be devoted to the outdoor - sportswear - casualwear offer in Hall 3. Hall 2 will be a focal point for relaxation, catering and networking, as well as a place for inspiration and exchange, with trend forums, product presentations, services and the Agora for conferences and round tables.

Econogy, Small Quantity & Hand Made: themed itineraries
Three exhibitor itineraries have been designed by the Messe Frankfurt France team to meet visitors' needs. The Econogy Finder trail, for example, enables visitors to find more than 80 suppliers of sustainable textiles, listed in the show app and indicated by the Econogy logos visible on the corresponding booths. The Small Quantity itinerary then highlights the more than 200 suppliers able to offer small quantity production (less than 300 pieces for garments or less than 100 metres for fabrics). A plus for buyers looking for limited editions or small orders for capsule collections. Finally, the Hand Made itinerary identifies the more than 130 exhibitors whose catalogues feature authentic, handmade products or unique skills. These manufacturers can also be found directly on the fair's online directory.

No longer an initiative but a prevailing commitment, sustainability has opened up new possibilities for technical textile and nonwoven development. Speaking at the 2024 edition, Mr Lin Yang, Sales Department Minister of Nihon Glass Fiber Industrial Co., Ltd. commented: “The sustainability trend has fostered the robust growth of new energy vehicles and in turn the automotive interior material businesses. Under the global eco-trend, green application will become the core development of automotive textiles, with more and more car manufacturers applying functional fibres to make automotive materials more durable, anti-high-energy radiation and so on.”

A few booths away, Mr Denis Wallrafen, Sales Manager of Reifenhäuser Enka Tecnica, also referred to sustainability as “the rule for success”, saying that the company has “developed an innovative, cost-effective method for refurbishing spunbond and meltblown spinnerets without compromising quality, with the same excellent performance of a new spinneret.”

Sustainability and innovation will again be strong focuses for Cinte Techtextil China in 2025, as will its propensity to bridge gaps between Asian and Western markets. Speaking at the previous edition, which attracted nearly 17,000 visits from 77 countries and regions, Mr Kabilen Sornum, Vice President Asia Pacific of Marketing & E-Commerce at Groz-Beckert East Asia said: “As one of the most important fairs for us in China, Cinte Techtextil China covers the domestic market, while we also receive a lot of international visitors here, allowing us to exchange ideas and gain market insights. As China is a very big market, very often we sell directly and indirectly to them during the fair, where all our users come together.”

The fair’s product categories cover 12 application areas, which comprehensively span a full range of potential uses in modern technical textiles and nonwovens. With more than 42% of local firms anticipating improved business performance in the fourth quarter, the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) stands out as a crucial event for the industry to continue its momentum. Scheduled for 26 – 28 February 2025 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), the fair will leverage Vietnam’s position as a leading textile and apparel manufacturing hub and provide opportunities to textile players from across ASEAN, Europe and beyond.
 
Spanning 15,000 sqm of exhibition space across Halls A and B1, VIATT will showcase a comprehensive range of products and solutions that encompass the full textile spectrum, including apparel fabrics and accessories; yarns and fibres; garments; home and contract textiles; technical textiles, nonwovens and equipment; and various certifiers and solutions providers. Der globale Markt für Textilchemikalien soll demnach auf ein Volumen von 33,1 Milliarden US-Dollar im Jahr 2026 wachsen. Als Treiber nennt die Studie unter anderem die steigende Nachfrage nach Chemikalien für den stark wachsenden Markt der technischen Textilien.
Textile Chemicals & Dyes sind relevant für alle Anwendungsbranchen wie Outdoor- und Schutzbekleidung, Industrie, Automobil, Luft- und Raumfahrt, Medizintechnik, Filtration und Bau.

Ob bei Vliesstoffen, beschichteten Textilien oder funktionalen Bekleidungstextilien – Chemikalien und Färbemittel sind für die Textilherstellung unverzichtbar. In verschiedenen Vorbehandlungs-, Färbe- und Veredelungsprozessen bestimmen sie das optische Erscheinungsbild von Fasern, Garnen, Vliesstoffen und textilen Flächen. Sie verleihen ihnen wichtige Funktionen. Textilchemikalien versehen Outdoor-Regenjacken mit wasserabweisender Imprägnierung, Arbeitskleidung mit Performance und sorgen für knitterfreie und weiche Bettwäsche trotz häufiger Wäschen. Sie sterilisieren medizinische Textilien für den sicheren Einsatz im OP, schützen Erosionsschutzvliese im Straßenbau vor UV-Strahlung und machen textile Industriefilter öl- und wasserabweisend. Außerdem gewährleisten sie den Flammschutz von Feuerwehranzügen und verbessern die Haltbarkeit von Airbags, damit diese ein Autoleben lang zuverlässig funktionieren.

Die Techtextil 2026 findet vom 21. bis 24. April 2026 statt.
