Mahlo GmbH + Co. KG announced its participation in the upcoming Igatex Trade Show, scheduled from 1 to 5 May in Lahore, Pakistan. Mahlo, known for its innovative solutions in the textile industry, will present its latest advancements aimed at improving quality, efficiency, and sustainability in textile manufacturing.

Pakistan ranks among the world's top textile-producing nations, making the Igatex Trade Show a significant platform for industry players to convene, share insights, and explore technologies.

He is on site together with the service partners of Mahlo Pakistan and Al Ameen Trading Corporation. “A process control systems tailored to the needs of the customer helps to regulate parameters such as dwell time, exhaust air or temperature. With its commitment to sustainability, Mahlo offers eco-friendly solutions aligned with the industry's growing emphasis on green production from energy-efficient equipment to resource-saving process optimization tools.

• Focus on straightening technology and process control

At Indo Intertex, held from 10 to 13 August in Jakarta, visitors get to see the Mahlo-way for process control in textile production. The German machine manufacturer and its partner agency Agansa Primatama will be available to show everyone its leading straightening technology as well as energy saving concepts around the stenter frames. INDO INTERTEX is South East Asia’s largest trade show on the textile and garment industries, bringing together leaders to experience world-class manufacture, technology and solutions.

Indonesia is one of the ten biggest textile producers in the world. Especially the USA, the European Union and Japan import a majority of their requirements from the Southeast Asian Island state. In order to fulfill the increasing demands and the call for high quality goods, producers invest in machinery, equipment and technology.

At IndoIntertex, Mahlo informs about its straightening machine Orthopac RVMC-15, among other. Based on experience reaching back to over 75 years, the machine offers the latest technology for correcting distortions. The modular straightening and process control system ensures a straight-thread product before and after the drying or fixing process and optimises the processes all around the stenter. This increases quality and saves resources and energy. The process control system Optipac VMC-15 measures and controls critical parameters such as dwell time, thread density or residual moisture.

For the second time the Innovative Textile and Apparel Show opens its virtual fairground this year. For the second time, Mahlo takes the chance to get in contact with customers from all over the world. Mahlo will present the latest systems and solutions for efficient and high-quality textile production and finishing, with the focus on process optimisation in a digital environment.

In the textile industry, Mahlo is known for high-quality automatic weft straighteners, whether roller or needle straighteners, whether for the finest textiles or heavy fabrics - interested parties can find out about the right equipment for their specific requirements.

Process control systems such as the Patcontrol PCS for pattern recognition and the Famacont PMC for controlling weft and stitch course density also contribute to textile production and finishing. Mahlo wants to support manufacturers in optimising their production processes and thus also the end product in a cost-efficient way.

Solutions for technical textiles and nonwovens
Support in the production process is also available for technical textiles and nonwovens. The focus here is on the Qualiscan QMS quality measurement system. The modularly designed system, which consists of sensors and measuring frames, measures, logs and controls critical parameters such as basis weight, moisture or layer thickness across the entire fabric width. Depending on the application and task, different measuring methods are used for this purpose.

Revolutionizing textile finishing by enhancing sustainability and total process control

Baldwin Technology Company Inc., a member of TMAS, the Swedish textile machinery association, is pleased to announce the launch of the TexCoat G4 at the ITMA trade show in Barcelona from June 20-26, 2019. The TexCoat G4 is the next generation of the company’s revolutionary non-contact precision application system for fabric finishing.

The system enables a continuously high quality and productive textile finishing process with zero chemistry waste and drastically reduced water and energy consumption. TexCoat G4 will be demonstrated by Baldwin in Hall H2, stand A204.

The non-contact spray technology brings numerous advantages compared to conventional methods of applying finishing chemistry. The chemistry is uniformly distributed across the textile surface and is applied only where it is required – on one or both sides of the fabric. This is highly beneficial e.g. when applying water repellants on laminated fabrics, as it eliminates the problem of chemistry affecting the quality of the adhesion layer. Furthermore, the non-contact technology eliminates chemistry dilution in wet-on-wet processes, allowing full control of maintaining consistent chemistry coverage rates. Additionally, with no bath contamination during the finishing process, there is zero downtime during colour or fabric changeovers.
