Dralon: acquisition of Dolan

The acrylic fiber producer Dralon GmbH, Dormagen/Germany, has reached a contractual agreement with Alpina Capital Partners LLP, Wiesbaden/Germany, and Dr. Jan Verdenhalven on the purchase and acquisition of Dolan Holding GmbH, Munich/Germany and Dolan GmbH, Kelheim/Germany. Subject to approval of a national competition authority, the acquisition should be finalized by the middle of 2018.
Dralon, with locations in Dormagen/Germany and Lingen/Germany, is a producer of raw white acrylic fiber. Dolan mainly produces spun dyed acrylic fiber for outdoor textiles such as awnings, outdoor furniture and sunshade, as well as for the marine and boat sector.
