Event Will Amplify the Nonwovens Industry’s Voice Amid Legislative Uncertainty in Washington
INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, announces the third annual INDA Advocacy and Fly-In Summit, co-hosted with ISSA, the Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association’s Clean Advocacy Summit, taking place March 23–24, 2026, at the Royal Sonesta Washington, D.C. Capitol Hill, located steps from the U.S. Capitol and Congressional office buildings.
The 2026 event will unite leaders from INDA, ISSA, IICRC, and WSA for two days of high-impact discussions, advocacy training, and direct engagement with policymakers.
The first day will feature advocacy training sessions, policy briefings, and nonwovens-specific breakout discussions designed to prepare INDA members to effectively communicate the industry’s priorities to legislators and regulators.
On day two, INDA member groups will participate in a “Hike the Hill”, meeting directly with congressional offices to discuss key legislative, trade, and regulatory issues shaping the nonwovens industry’s future.
“With so much uncertainty happening on Capitol Hill, it has never been more important for INDA members to have their voices heard,” said Tony Fragnito, INDA President. “The 2026 Advocacy and Fly-In Summit gives our members a unique opportunity to engage directly with policymakers on the issues that matter most — from the WIPPES Act and tariffs to PFAS and extended producer responsibility proposals. By participating, INDA members help ensure the nonwovens industry’s perspective is represented in the decisions that will shape our future.”
