Texhibition Istanbul: 5.bis 7. März 2025, Istanbul Expo Center

Texhibition Istanbul, internationale Fachmesse für Stoffe, Garne und Textilzubehör, findet vom 5. bis 7. März 2025 zum siebten Mal im Istanbul Expo Center statt. Mit über 500 Ausstellern und einer Ausstellungsfläche von 35.000 Quadratmetern bringt die Messe alle wichtigen Akteure der Textilindustrie zusammen. Es werden mehr als 25.000 Fachbesucher aus über 125 Ländern erwartet, darunter Vertreter aus der EU, dem Vereinigten Königreich, den USA, Nordafrika und dem Nahen Osten.

Seit ihrer ersten Ausgabe im Jahr 2022 hat sich Texhibition Istanbul als zentraler Treffpunkt für Einkäufer und Hersteller etabliert. Die Messe präsentiert eine breite Produktpalette, darunter gewebte und gestrickte Stoffe, Garne, Denim, Stickereien, Drucke und Textilzubehör. Ergänzt wird das Angebot durch den neu eingerichteten Stickereibereich.

Die Türkei ist einer der wichtigsten Textilproduzenten der Welt. Im Jahr 2024 erreichten die türkischen Textil- und Bekleidungsexporte einen Wert von rund 30 Milliarden US-Dollar, wovon rund 12 Milliarden US-Dollar auf Stoffe, Garne und Textilzubehör entfielen.
Trotz globaler Herausforderungen hat sich die Branche konsolidiert - vor allem aufgrund der starken Nachfrage nach hochwertigen, nachhaltig produzierten Stoffen. Die wichtigsten Exportmärkte sind:

  • Deutschland (der größte Abnehmer von türkischen Textilien)
  • Spanien und das Vereinigte Königreich
  • USA (wachsende Bedeutung als Zukunftsmarkt)

Im Texhibition Trend Lab werden die neuesten Farbtrends, hochwertige Stoffe und kreative Designs in einem inspirierenden architektonischen Konzept präsentiert. Das Trend Lab thematisiert wie in der Welt der Textilien Innovation und Technologie verschmelzen, um nachhaltige Designs zu schaffen, die den Herausforderungen des Klimawandels gerecht werden. Futuristische Ästhetik und digitale Revolution heben Funktionalität und Stil auf ein neues Niveau, während die Kombination aus moderner Technologie und traditioneller Handwerkskunst Qualität und Haltbarkeit neu definiert. Diese Ära verbindet minimalistisches Design mit natürlicher Harmonie, geprägt von klaren Formen und raffinierten Farbpaletten. Die Innovation Hub Area wurde unter der Leitung von Arzu Kaprol und Filiz Tunca entwickelt. BlueBlack Denim
Mit Denim als zentralen Bestandteil der Modeindustrie und der Türkei als einer der weltweit führenden Hersteller hochwertiger, nachhaltiger Denimstoffe präsentiert die Blue Black Denim Area die 21 wichtigsten türkischen Denim-Hersteller, darunter Bossa, İsko und Kipaş. The sixth edition of Texhibition Istanbul from 11 to 13 September 2024 will once again bring together all components of the textile industry and offer an overview of all product groups in the textile preliminary stage: from woven goods to knitwear, from yarns and denim to artificial leather and textile accessories.

Texhibition Istanbul Fabric and Textile Accessories Fair, organised by İTKİB Fuarcılık A.Ş. in cooperation with the Istanbul Textile Exporters Association (İTHİB), is following on from this year's March event with the upcoming edition.

Highlights:

Texhibition Istanbul: Fifth edition successfully concluded

The fifth edition of the Texhibition Istanbul Fabric and Textile Accessories Fair from 6 to 8 March 2024, organised by İTKİB Fuarcılık A.Ş. in cooperation with the Istanbul Textile Exporters Association (İTHİB), presented 557 exhibitors showcasing the entire range of the textile supplying section: from woven and knitted fabrics to accessories and artificial leather. A new addition was a separate hall for yarns and denim, the BlueBlackDenim hall. With this trade fair, Texhibition has more than doubled its floor space compared to the last event to 35,000 square metres.

Texhibition Istanbul acts as a central point of contact for the entire international industry, with a clear focus on quality, innovation and the latest trends like the denim companies Bossa, Çalık, İsko, İskur and Kipaş at the BlueBlackDenim Hall.

In addition to well-known companies such as Almodo, Bahariye, BTD, Can Textile, Iskur, Kipaş, Menderes, Söktaş, Yünsa, Zorlu, İpeker a large number of other export-oriented companies from the segments of textiles (woven fabrics, knitting) presented their latest designs and products.

Visitors
25,752 visitors came from over 112 countries, 41.8% from the European Union (including Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Romania etc.) and Great Britain, Ukraine,26.5% from Asia (including Russia etc.), 14.8% from the Middle East (including Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia) 10.7% from North Africa (including Algeria, Tunisia etc.), 3.1% from North America (United States, Canada), 3.1% from South America and other countries.

American buyers from the USA and Canada in particular, but also a large number of Mexican and Colombian buyers took advantage of the numerous match-making opportunities at Texhibition. Many B2B meetings took place and led to numerous orders being placed, including from key accounts such as Alexander Wang, Asos, Forever 21, Sainsbury's, Veronica Beard etc.

Due to popular demand, the fair has been expanded to five halls, including the new Yarn Hall (Hall 8) with exhibitors such as Sasa, Aksa, Karafiber, Kortex, Tepar, Ensar, Kaplanlar and Iskur and the BlueBlack Denim Hall (Hall 7), which showcases the latest denim trends and presents a wide range from blue shades to black denims with exhibitors such as İsko, Çalık Bossa, Kipas and İskur. BlueBlack Denim is designed by the  designer Idil Tarzi in cooperation with the creative directors Gönül Altunisik and Selvi Yigci.

Curated by Idil Tarzi and her creative team, the Texhibition Trend Area in Halls 4 and 5 presents the latest colour trends, materials and accessories.

Under the direction of designers Arzu Kaprol and Filiz Tunca, the Innovation Hub showcases technological innovations that add value to textile production: from fibre to yarn, from fabrics to clothing.

Digital art installations in the entrance area, which run through the entire trade fair, as well as piano performances in the foyer await visitors at the upcoming Texhibition.

Seminars and workshops with industry experts shed light on current topics in the industry, including innovations, production processes and design developments. These opportunities offer participants a platform to exchange knowledge and discuss the latest developments in the textile industry.

The third edition of Texhibition Istanbul Fabric, Yarn and Textile Accessories Fair, 8-10 March 2023 builds on the successful editions of the fair last year. The fair is organized by the Istanbul Textile Exporters' Association (ITHIB) and with the support of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICOC).

More than 400 exhibitors from the areas of knitwear, woven fabrics, denim, yarns and accessories will present their 2024 spring-summer collections on 15,000 square meters in the Istanbul Expo Center. These include well-known names such as Kipaş, Bossa, Yünsa, Btd, Çalık, Hefa, İskur, Universal, Gülle, and Migiboy.

The fair is organized by the Istanbul Textile Exporters' Association (ITHIB) and with the support of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICOC).

More than 400 exhibitors from the areas of knitwear, woven fabrics, denim, yarns and accessories will present their 2024 spring-summer collections on 15,000 square meters in the Istanbul Expo Center. These include well-known names such as Kipaş, Bossa, Yünsa, Btd, Çalık, Hefa, İskur, Universal, Gülle, and Migiboy.

At the last event in September 2022, a total of 20,606 visitors took the opportunity to start business discussions and place orders. Among them international visitors from 97 countries, including the EU, UK, USA, North Africa and the Middle East. Over 25,000 visitors are expected at the upcoming Texhibition in March 2023 such as large clothing manufacturers, purchasing managers of international chain stores and department stores, managers of international brands and chains with their own brand collections, managers of online sales platforms, importers, wholesalers, distributors, designers, etc.

The trend area at Texhibition will show the spring-summer 2024 trends with a focus on sustainable aspects.

Texhibition Istanbul completes the IFCO, Istanbul Fashion Connection, which takes place from 8.-11. February 2023, also for the third time at the Istanbul Expo Center.
