Montalvo promotes Vince Mullen to Manager of North American Sales

The Montalvo Corporation, an international company in web tension control products and services based in Gorham Maine, has promoted Inside Sales Support Manager Vince Mullen to Manager of North American Sales.

Russ Hall, Montalvo CEO said, “Vince has more than proven himself in his years of working with Team Montalvo on the Inside Sales Support Team. And most recently he has done an impressive job leading that department. He will continue leading that department in addition to taking on a more direct role of working with all of our Field Sales Representatives across North America.”

Montalvo publishes article on how to test and troubleshoot Load Cells

Montalvo, an international specialist in Web Tension Control and Web Handling, publishes an article educating users on how to troubleshoot and test Load Cells. Load Cells play an integral role in measuring the Web Tension throughout the process, and as such, they must be accurate and function properly at all times. Furthermore, they are required to perform in every environment, which, at times, can present numerous challenges to their functionality, and thus knowing how to troubleshoot Loads Cells could shorten machine downtime. In this brief article, Montalvo explains why Load Cells fail and provides four ways to troubleshoot, diagnose and solve any missed performance features.

Montalvo names new Director of Engineering

Montalvo, international specialist in web Tension Control, has hired Steve Franklin as their new Director of Engineering. Mr. Franklin will be overseeing Montalvo’s Electrical, Mechanical, and Automation Engineering teams, directing the development of new products, customized products, and larger-scale projects, while improving processes and expanding the company’s overall Engineer capabilities.

Chief Executive Officer, Bryon Williams says “Steve is an incredible asset to the team. We are continuously pushing ourselves as a company, creating new products, expanding into new markets, and providing additional offerings to our customers as a total web handling and web tension control solutions provider. Steve’s background and experience are only going to accelerate these objectives and our overall growth. Mr. Franklin holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Montalvo has promoted Bryon Williams to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Having previously served as Montalvo’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. Williams will continue to develop, expand, and execute Montalvo’s short-term and long-term growth strategies expanding into new markets, developing Montalvo’s product line, strengthening Montalvo’s international presence, and growing Montalvo’s market.

Montalvo, international specialist in web tension control, has hired Mr. Mike Cunningham as their new Europe Director of Sales and Service. Mr. Cunningham will oversee Montalvo’s European sales and service efforts, implementing Montalvo’s regional strategy, increasing and developing the sales service, and support for Montalvo across EMEA. Mr. Cunningham’s primary responsibilities include: developing and coordinating partnerships, forming new alliances with key players while bringing new innovations into the market, and leading both Montalvo’s direct sales, technical, and customer service teams, as well as their resellers and distributors.

Montalvo, international specialists in web tension control, has promoted Russ Hall to North America Director of Sales & Service.  Mr. Hall’s primary responsibilities are overseeing Montalvo’s North America sales team by building, managing, and maintaining new business strategies. In addition, Mr. Hall will be developing relationships with our existing and new industry partners.

Mr. Hall holds an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Technology and a graduate degree in NGO Leadership & Development. Over the last 30 years, Mr. Hall has held service, sales, and management positions with multiple technology companies. Mr. Hall joined the Montalvo technical and sales team two years ago.
