• JEC GROUP und AVK starten ein neues Composites Event für die D-A-CH Region

JEC Group und die AVK, der Verband der verstärkten Kunststoffe in Deutschland, haben ihre Kräfte gebündelt um eine jährliche Veranstaltung für die D-A-CH-Region zu organisieren, die der kompletten  Composites Wertschöpfungskette und deren Anwendungsbereichen gewidmet ist. Das erste JEC Forum DACH, das in Format und Inhalt einzigartig ist, findet vom 23. bis 24. November 2021 im Forum der Messe Frankfurt statt. Die Veranstaltung wird jedes Jahr an einem anderen Standort stattfinden, um die Dynamik und Vielfältigkeit der Verbundwerkstoffindustrie in den verschiedenen Ländern der D-A-CH Region hervorzuheben.

JEC Group startet in Zusammenarbeit mit der AVK das JEC Forum DACH. Die Veranstaltung ist in ihrem Format einzigartig und wird jedes Jahr in verschiedene Städte der D-A-CH-Region verlegt. Diese erste Ausgabe findet vom 23. bis 24. November 2021 in Frankfurt am Main statt.

Das JEC Forum DACH umfasst Geschäftstreffen zwischen Sponsoren und Teilnehmern sowie Fachseminare. Die Veranstaltung präsentiert exklusive Inhalte wie ein umfangreiches Konferenzprogramm, den jährlichen AVK-Marktbericht - auch über Live-Streaming für Remote-Teilnehmer verfügbar - und nicht zuletzt die renommierten AVK-JEC Innovation Awards.

Der JEC Startup Booster-Wettbewerb wird erstmals auch in der D-A-CH-Region eingeführt. Das JEC Forum DACH bietet außerdem Firmenbesuche an, während derer Teilnehmer am 25. November wichtige Akteure des lokalen Compositesmarktes besichtigen können.

Das Hauptziel dieser Veranstaltung ist, die dynamische Verbundwerkstoffindustrie in dieser Region zu unterstützen und das Geschäft nach einer herausfordernden und komplexen Zeit wieder aufzubauen. Das agile Format  des JEC Forum DACH wird sich jedes Jahr auf einen anderen Anwendungsbereich sowie regionale Besonderheiten im Zusammenhang mit Verbundwerkstoffen konzentrieren. Das Endziel ist, das Geschäft aufzubauen, sich mit der lokalen Industrie und deren Hauptakteuren wie Universitäten, Forschungs- und Entwicklungszentren und Unternehmen jeder Größe zu verbinden und diese zu erreichen, um den Geschäfts- und Innovationsgeist zu fördern.

• Next Jec World Will Take Place From March 8 To 10, 2022

The continued impact of the Covid-19 pandemic unfolding throughout 2021 has forced the JEC World team to reexamine the possibility of holding the next edition of JEC World this year. Thus, after thorough consultation of clients and partners, the JEC World team has decided to postpone the next edition of JEC World to March 8 to 10, 2022.

Amidst growing concern among our exhibitors and partners surrounding the critical situation of the Covid 19 restrictive measures and other limitations in place in many countries, the JEC World team has decided to work on a new timeline to hold the next edition of the event in the best conditions in 2022. Thus, JEC World exhibitors were asked to respond to a survey offering two new dates to determine which one would suit them the most. It appeared that 89% of respondents favored holding the next JEC World session from March 8 to 10, 2022.

“The coronavirus pandemic situation has taken the central stage, so in light of the current situation, it would not be possible for us to satisfy our customers’ requirements for such an international trade fair as JEC World in June. We truly regret having to make this difficult decision once again. However, we are all committed, starting today, to deliver the best JEC World experience to our clients in 2022.” says Eric Pierrejean, CEO of JEC Group. “While waiting for welcoming the international composites community back to Paris in March 2022, JEC Group team is preparing various online Rendez-Vous in June enabling the entire composites community to discover trends and innovations, and to connect″, he added.

The leading composites event will take place from March 8 to 10, 2022, at Paris Nord Villepinte (same venue) and online for a new augmented experience.

As the leading trade show of the composites industry, JEC World will bring together the whole composites materials value chain and professionals from application sectors, experts from the scientific and academic world, associations, and media from more than 112 countries, introducing in 2022 its audience its new digital platform, JEC World Augmented.

“JEC World 2022 and the augmented platform  will bring the international composites community and specialists together to resume business, network, hold business meetings. They will also have the chance to participate in conferences, workshops, and discover the latest composites innovations,” says Adeline Larroque, Show director and EMEA events.

Starting on December 8, professionals from the whole composites value chain across the globe will be able to meet online, network, and build long-lasting relationships thanks to the JEC Summit Sport & Health. The goal of this event is to allow decision-makers to learn about the current challenges and opportunities of the sports and medical fields, this thanks to the three-day program integrating keynote speeches, industry sessions, workshops, startups, and business meetings.

JEC SUMMIT SPORTS & HEALTH – CONNECT, the new online event platform devoted to medical and sports equipment composites manufacturers, unveils some of the programs available online December 8 to 10.

Starting on December 8, professionals from all the composites value chain across the globe will be able to meet online, network, and build long-lasting relationships thanks to the JEC Summit Sport & Health. The event goal is to allow decision-makers to learn about the current challenges and opportunities of the sports and medical fields, this thanks to the three-day program integrating industry sessions, workshops, startups, and business meetings.

Each day, industry decision-makers using composites will come together to discuss the latest developments in composites in sports and medical fields through a set of keynotes and industry sessions. Each session will be followed by panel discussions over a variety of business-angled topics. Workshops from individual sponsors with clients will give an extensive overview of the current technological trends in the sports and medical fields and offer an outlook on developing production lines in these fields. A selection of the most exciting startups in these fields will pitch their innovations and glance at the industry's future. Finally, pre-arranged online business meetings will be set up to network with industry buyers and decision-makers from the entire composites' value-chain.

Each day of the summit will be composed of five major moments as-is:

• A keynote speech led by one or two high profile experts
• An industry session: a discussion between two experts in medical or sporting devices fields
• A Startup pitches session during which each startup will introduce its product or innovation,

After Mondial. Tech, NAIAS 2019, and eMove 360°, JEC Group will hold the 4th Composites Pavilion at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit from June 9 to 11, 2020 in a spirit of innovation, business, and networking.

At NAIAS 2020, JEC Group will highlight the latest technologies and solutions allowing the automotive industry to innovate in product design, reduce the environmental impact of emissions and improve production rates thanks to composite materials. For the first time in 2020, the Composites Mobility Summit will simultaneously include the pavilion with a showcase of innovative parts, an extensive conference program, and a composites tour. Composite materials are a key part of the future of the Mobility industry and this Summit will both demonstrate the exciting variety of their applications, and aim to push forward their use in an even more global scope.

Within the Composite Solutions for Mobility pavilion, the displayed parts will highlight the different applications of composites for mobility such as lightweight, design freedom, aesthetics and flexibility, resistance, strength and stiffness, function integration, hybridization, fuel storage, connectivity integration and battery housing.

The awards ceremony took place place on November 14, 2019, at 5:30 pm at the Startup Branch, COEX. Ben Bassat, President and CEO of Plataine Avner opened the ceremony with a keynote about “The 4th industrial revolution: implementing IIOT and AI to composite materials and manufacturing”.

JEC Forum Chicago 2019, with its new format combining business meetings and conference sessions was a great success. In fact, with 201 delegates and 490 business meetings organized on site, it reveals that North American composites industrials value this new format.

Gauging from the attendance of more than 7,000 professional visits from 49 countries, Eric PIERREJEAN, CEO of JEC Group, has already announced during the opening ceremony that JEC Asia 2019 will return next year on November 13, 14, 15, 2019. This ceremony was attended by industrialists, academics and officials, reflecting the huge interest that composite materials generates. Thus, at this ceremony we could notice the participation of Mr. BANG Yun Hyuk, President of KCTECH, Mr. Song, Ha Jin Jeonbuk Provincial Governor, Mr. HAN Byung Do, Senior secretary to the South Korean President for political affairs, Mr. CHOI Jin Hyuk, Director at MOTIE, Mr. KIM Yang Won, Vice Mayor of Jeonju, demonstrating the whole support of the Korean community; and Mr. Fabien PENONE, French Ambassador, was also present to underline the strong links and industrial interactions between Korea and France.

All in all, the show floor was filled with innovations as JEC Asia 2018 showcased innovative parts and awarded 12 composites International champions among which 3 were about automotive, at the JEC Innovation Awards ceremony.

Also, to be noted at JEC Asia was the focus on networking with pre-arranged Business meetings that generated +450 qualified one-to-ones over the 3 days. Likewise, 3 composites tours opened exclusive doors to attendees when they visited Hanyang University, the composite architecture of the House of Dior, LG Hausys & Kolon and a day trip in Jeonju region and the Carbon Valley of the KCTECH.
For the first time, JEC Asia teamed up with MAI Carbon to offer a brand-new Student Program that keeps abreast of composite-industry needs to hire young, committed well-trained engineers. The two-part program included workshops with a focus on theoretical foundations and a guided tour through the JEC Asia trade show and the innovation planet.

Paris - After the record-breaking figures of the 2017 edition, that marked the move of JEC Asia from Singapore to Seoul, the event is returning to the capital city of the Republic of Korea with a strong program, not only on the exhibition floor, but also in the conference sessions and all services at the disposal of every attendee.
