This year’s JEC forum DACH, taking place from November 29 to 30, 2022, is strategically located in a composites « golden triangle », between Munich, Augsburg and Ingelstadt. This dynamic area, at the heart of the Bavarian region is known to be hosting major companies such as Airbus, Faurecia, Kuka, Siemens, Voith Composites, KraussMaffei Technologies, Cevotec, Munich Composites, or Premium Aerotec, thus promising a two-days opportunity to meet with key decision makers.

The digital platform available to all participants prior to the event enables to schedule one to one business meetings between buyers and suppliers from the whole value chain of composites, as well as informal networking during breaks, lunches and evening event.

In total, 500 attendees, suppliers and buyers, from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, are expected to participate to JEC Forum DACH 2022.

Celebrating composites innovation through awards and startup competition

• The AVK Innovation Awards: Goal is to promote and give prominence to new products/components and applications made from fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP) and promote new processes and methods for manufacturing FRP products.
• Startup Booster competition: The contest is open to entrepreneurs, SMEs, startups and academic spinoffs building innovative composite and advanced materials projects that are based in Germany, Austria or Switzerland (the DACH region).

JEC Forum DACH will open its doors from November 23 – 24, 2021, the promise of a two-days gathering around business meetings and conferences. JEC Forum DACH will offer actors of the composites profession in the region the opportunity to exchange and learn about current and future developments of the industry through a rich program of conferences, the JEC Composites Startup Booster, and the AVK Innovation Awards. It also includes pre-arranged Business Meetings between sponsors and attendees as well as sponsors’ workshops.

exclusive keynotes organized by the AVK.

MEETINGS PROGRAM
In  order  to  help  the  sponsors  to  save  time  and  establish  connections  with  real-interest business partners, JEC Group has developed a Business Meetings program: an efficient facilitator to connect precise needs to corresponding offers. These one-to-one meetings will be held on the sponsors’ booths during the two days of the event.

FOSTERING ENTREPRENEURSHIP WITH THE JEC COMPOSITES STARTUP BOOSTER
JEC Composites Startup Booster is the leading startup competition in the world of composites.
It enables the community to find and assess innovations with a potential impact on their respective industries. The competition will be held at JEC Forum DACH for the first time with the pitches’ session on November 23rd at 2:15pm followed by the Awards ceremony at 6:15 pm.
The finalists are: ANYBRID (Germany), CARBON CLEANUP (Austria), CARBON-DRIVE (Germany), FIBRECOAT (Germany), and TOUCH SENSITY (France).

CELEBRATING INNOVATION WITH THE AVK INNOVATION AWARDS
This year at JEC Forum DACH, JEC Group and AVK will co-organize the AVK Innovation Award.
One of the goals of the AVK Innovation Awards is to give prominence to the innovations and the companies/institutions behind them, thus publicizing their performance throughout the industry. These awards will celebrate innovations in fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP) / composites during the Awards ceremony on Tuesday 23rd, at 6:15pm.

• JEC GROUP und AVK starten ein neues Composites Event für die D-A-CH Region

JEC Group und die AVK, der Verband der verstärkten Kunststoffe in Deutschland, haben ihre Kräfte gebündelt um eine jährliche Veranstaltung für die D-A-CH-Region zu organisieren, die der kompletten  Composites Wertschöpfungskette und deren Anwendungsbereichen gewidmet ist. Das erste JEC Forum DACH, das in Format und Inhalt einzigartig ist, findet vom 23. bis 24. November 2021 im Forum der Messe Frankfurt statt. Die Veranstaltung wird jedes Jahr an einem anderen Standort stattfinden, um die Dynamik und Vielfältigkeit der Verbundwerkstoffindustrie in den verschiedenen Ländern der D-A-CH Region hervorzuheben.

JEC Group startet in Zusammenarbeit mit der AVK das JEC Forum DACH. Die Veranstaltung ist in ihrem Format einzigartig und wird jedes Jahr in verschiedene Städte der D-A-CH-Region verlegt. Diese erste Ausgabe findet vom 23. bis 24. November 2021 in Frankfurt am Main statt.

Das JEC Forum DACH umfasst Geschäftstreffen zwischen Sponsoren und Teilnehmern sowie Fachseminare. Der JEC Startup Booster-Wettbewerb wird erstmals auch in der D-A-CH-Region eingeführt. Das JEC Forum DACH bietet außerdem Firmenbesuche an, während derer Teilnehmer am 25. November wichtige Akteure des lokalen Compositesmarktes besichtigen können.

Das Hauptziel dieser Veranstaltung ist, die dynamische Verbundwerkstoffindustrie in dieser Region zu unterstützen und das Geschäft nach einer herausfordernden und komplexen Zeit wieder aufzubauen. Das agile Format  des JEC Forum DACH wird sich jedes Jahr auf einen anderen Anwendungsbereich sowie regionale Besonderheiten im Zusammenhang mit Verbundwerkstoffen konzentrieren. Das Endziel ist, das Geschäft aufzubauen, sich mit der lokalen Industrie und deren Hauptakteuren wie Universitäten, Forschungs- und Entwicklungszentren und Unternehmen jeder Größe zu verbinden und diese zu erreichen, um den Geschäfts- und Innovationsgeist zu fördern.
