They develop models and
collections in the clothing industry, plan and direct the work in pattern workshops or pattern
studios. Here state-certified engineers specialized in clothing technology with a focus on
clothing design monitor the development of prototypes. They ensure that designs are balanced
translated into sections and series models and the individual designs are coordinated
harmoniously to product groups and / or added to a collection. They guide their staff by
