Hot-Air Balloon
The "Oeko-Tex Number One” hot air balloon set out on its official maiden
flight from Schloss Hohenstein in Bönnigheim on 8th September.
But even on the ground, the "Oeko-Tex Number One” will attract a lot of
atten-tion and serve as the ideal symbol for the concept of "Confidence
in textiles”. The "Oeko-Tex Number One” is a real eyecatcher in the sky
above Germany, Switzerland and Austria which should also be of particular
benefit in future to those companies who have their products certified
according to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
The hot air balloon is avai-lable to certificate holders for any form
of event such as trade fairs, anniversaries or in-house exhibi-tions.
The German Oeko-Tex Certification Centre will also contribute half of
the costs for the balloon pilot and ad-vertising banners which can be
attached to the balloon by velcro. Interested companies can find out about
the terms and conditions and make a reservation on the Oeko-Tex Standard
100 website www.oeko-tex.com.
When it is not being used by certificate holders, the "Oeko-Tex Number
One” advertises textiles tested for harmful substances at a wide range
of sporting and cultural events. This should help to reinforce awareness
of the label "Con-fidence in textiles” and encourage retailers to extend
their range of certified products in the interest of their customers.
